So, I have some news. You will have noticed my growing obsession with mobile over the last 18 months. Writing articles, speaking at conferences and starting a specialist mobile software development agency. Well, one thing has led to another and Dootrix (said mobile software development agency) has landed some major enterprise clients which means, after a truly fantastic 10 years of association with Headscape, my time is coming to an end. It seems that there are just not enough hours in the day to do everything.
The end of an era
When I say it’s coming to an end, what I really mean is that it’s changing shape. There is a fantastic synergy between Headscape and Dootrix. But, I’m not saying that Headscape is going to be handing over all of its native app development to Dootrix. However, the expertise that Dootrix has in the enterprise app market means, between the two companies, we can take on the larger, more complex projects that are now growing in demand. The mobile revolution is changing the way in which all businesses and organisations operate; both internally and with their customers. This is a very exciting space to be involved with.
I will still be engaged in the boagworld community. You can expect an article or two and maybe even the odd appearance on the podcast. So I expect to stay in touch.
It feels a little like the end of an era. But it’s also the start of something very exciting! Stay tuned…
